UCA and Talas State University Strengthen Ties

The University of Central Asia (UCA) and Talas State University (TalSU) have taken a significant step towards enhancing collaboration and enriching the educational experience for students by signing a Memorandum of Understanding.

Signed by Prof. Christopher Gerry, Acting Rector of UCA, and Dr Jyrgalbek Sharshembiev, Rector of TalSU, the Memorandum underscores the longstanding partnership between the two institutions. It emphasises initiatives aimed at enhancing faculty and staff capacity at TalSU, facilitating student exchange opportunities, and fostering joint research projects including archaeological undertakings in Talas Oblast.

"We are confident that our collaboration with the University of Central Asia will significantly contribute to the advancement of scholarship and the development of faculty expertise at TalSU," remarked Dr Jyrgalbek Sharshembiev during the MoU signing ceremony.
