Invitation to AKHP's International Conference "Approaches to the Humanities in Central Asia: Past, Present and Future"
The Aga Khan Humanities Project (AKHP), Graduate School of Development of the University of Central Asia invites you to the Second AKHP International Conference, "Approaches to the Humanities in Central Asia: Past, Present and Future".
The aim of the conference is to bring together a series of case studies reflecting various aspects of humanities in Central Asia as well as educational influences and interactions between Central Asians and other intellectual traditions in the Eurasian context.
The overall themes of the conference include, but are not limited to:
- Approaches to humanities in the Central Asian context;
- Teaching and learning humanities;
- Humanities in Sciences, Art, Music, and Architecture;
- Education reforms and movements in historical and contemporary Central Asian contexts.
