SAS Faculty and Alum Present Paper at UAE Conference

Dr Muhammad Fayaz, Computer Science faculty at UCA's School of Arts and Sciences (SAS), presented a research paper at an International Conference on Electrical and Computing Technologies and Applications (ICECTA) in U.A.E. Entitled  "A Cohesive Machine Learning-Based Model for Energy Consumption Prediction in Smart Homes", the paper was co-authored by

Sarvinoz Toshpulotova, who graduated in 2022 from SAS with a degree in Computer Science.

The research is based on Sarvinoz's undergraduate dissertation on the issue of energy, which despite being a costly resource remains  in demand, but  with technological advancements can be utilized  in a much more effective manner.

The paper has been accepted for publication and will soon be available at IEEE Xplore, a renowned digital library.
