Muqim Saidusaynov is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Central Asia, where he has been teaching since 2022. He holds a Candidate of Physics and Mathematics Science degree from the Institute of Mathematics named after A. Juraeva, Academy of Science Republic of Tajikistan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Khorog State University.
Prior to joining UCA, Muqim was an IB Math Instructor at the School of Professional Development Program (SPCE) at UCA, where he developed and adapted the IB curriculum and taught mathematics. He also served as a Senior Teacher of Mathematics at Tajik National University and an Associate Professor at Tajik Commercial University.
His research interests include extremal problems in approximation theory, Jackson-Stechkin type inequalities, and mean-square approximation of complex functions. Muqim has published several papers in esteemed journals and presented his work at international conferences such as the S.B. Stechkin Workshop-Conference on Function Theory.
Muqim has received recognition for his contributions to teaching, including the Certificate of Excellence as the Best Math Instructor in 2020 and a Certificate of Appreciation for innovative teaching approaches from UCA in 2019.
