Prior to joining UCA, Hofiz worked as a senior researcher at the Centre for the Study of Glaciers of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan for nearly six years. He also worked as an assistant in the Department of Mathematics at Khorog State University. Hofiz has attained a PhD degree from the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and a master’s degree from the St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, Faculty of Information and Computer Technology.
