Ksenia Sizonova is a second-year PhD candidate at the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies, University College London. She is interested in how Kyrgyzstani women who used to live and work in Russia reflect on their everyday experiences. In Kyrgyzstan, Ksenia is currently carrying out ethnographic fieldwork. Ksenia’s PhD research is funded by the London Arts and Humanities Partnership and is supervised by Dr Agnieszka Kubal and Dr Victoria Redclift. Ksenia is looking forward to contributing to the vibrant academic life at UCA and collaborating with colleagues.
