UCA’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) has partnered with the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Naryn Region to support school graduates in the city of Naryn and across Naryn Region by strengthening their preparation for the Republican Unified Testing (ORT).

As part of the agreement, 96  final-year students from Naryn will participate in an intensive preparatory course designed to improve their performance in the ORT. The programme will focus on mathematics, Russian language, and Kyrgyz language. Additionally, 24 students from rural areas of Naryn Region and the city of Naryn will also receive preparation in chemistry and biology.

The course includes 100 academic hours of instruction for the duration of 2 months. The programme is designed to provide students with:

  • deeper understanding of key academic subjects;
  • additional instruction on topics not fully covered in school curricula;
  • high-quality learning materials;
  • targeted preparation for successful performance on the ORT.

The initiative is implemented through a co-financing model: 50 percent of the programme costs are covered by the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative in Naryn Region, while the remaining 50 percent is funded by the University of Central Asia with support from donors through Friends of UCA.

This initiative demonstrates the value of collaboration between government institutions and educational organisations in strengthening human capital and expanding opportunities for young people in Naryn Region.
