SPCE UCA Concludes Digital Transformation Training for Kyrgyz Republic’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce
The University of Central Asia’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) successfully concluded the final series of Executive training courses for employees of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This training on ‘Digital Transformation Management: A Project Approach’ marked the culmination of a broader collaboration between SPCE and the Ministry, through which 47 civil servants received comprehensive capacity-building support across several strategic areas: ‘Cluster production organisation’; ‘Investment and investment financing’; ‘preparation of analytical and positioning policy papers’; and ‘digital transformation management using a project-based approach’.
As part of the Ministry’s wider professional development programme, this initiative aimed to strengthen the digital competencies of public servants and enhance their ability to lead and manage transformation efforts effectively. Over the course of the training, participants explored contemporary concepts and practical tools essential for managing transformations.
This programme reflects UCA’s ongoing commitment to supporting public sector innovation and capacity development across Central Asia, equipping government professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to lead in an increasingly digital world.
