UCA-DAAD Partnership Empowering Central Asia’s Brightest Minds

University of Central Asia
26 December 2024

Central Asian Faculty Development Programme (CAFDP) Fellows supported by the University of Central Asia (UCA) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) gathered in Frankfurt, Germany, to present the latest updates on their research. Their projects span critical global challenges, including sustainable agriculture, food security dynamics, river erosion, plasma technology, biofilm ecosystems, and advanced reasoning in artificial intelligence.

Upon completion of their studies, the Fellows will return to UCA to teach and conduct research through one of UCA’s schools.

Since its inception in 2013, the DAAD-UCA Scholarship Programme has supported more than 25 Fellows, enabling some of Central Asia’s most promising scholars to pursue advanced studies at leading German institutions. Thank you to DAAD for supporting this impactful partnership and to our scholars for driving solutions to today’s global challenges!
