Abstract

The lecture will focus on the adaptation of the Kyrgyz Republic's education system to global change and the transition to a 12-year school system. Participants will examine key trends - from digitalisation to inclusion - and analyse the reform experiences of countries in the region (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Armenia).

About Speaker 

Gulzada Duyshebaeva is an expert with over 36 years of experience in education and skills development. She leads the expert group implementing the Roadmap for the Transformation of Higher and Secondary Pedagogical Education in the Kyrgyz Republic. She holds a Master's degree in Philology (Kazakhstan State University, 1989; I. Arabaev State University, 2008). For over 28 years, she has collaborated with government agencies and international organisations (World Bank, ADB, GIZ, Erasmus+) on the modernisation of qualification systems, accreditation, and the development of educational strategies. She specialises in institutional development, public-private partnerships, and policies to improve graduate employability.

Pulat Shozimov (PhD, Prof.) – Senior Research Fellow, Aga Khan Humanities Project (AKHP), Graduate School of Development, University of Central Asia.

Online Public Lecture Series on the thematic block “Interdisciplinary discourse in the context of humanitarian and natural science research” is aimed at developing the professional development of university teachers and at creating an open platform for discussing current challenges of our time, activating new ideas and expanding the dialogue between scientists, the intellectual community, teachers and students.
