Social Entrepreneurship and Challenging Geographical Areas

This working paper discusses the concept of social entrepreneurship as applied to operating enterprises in challenging geographical areas of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic. The paper provides the classification of social entrepreneurship. It allowed us to identify the most effective forms of enterprises involved in solving acute social issues of target social groups. The result of this working paper was a description of the concept of social entrepreneurship in challenging geographical areas.
