Timur Oganov

Timur has more than ten years of experience in project design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and the management of donor-funded programmes. Prior to joining UCA, he worked for over ten years with Internews in Central Asia, most recently as Digital Security Coordinator, where he led regional initiatives, managed complex projects, and worked closely with international donors. Earlier, he served as Project Manager for Central Asia, overseeing EU-funded regional programmes and sub-granting mechanisms.

Timur has strong experience in proposal development, budgeting, donor reporting and stakeholder engagement. He has worked with academic institutions and international organisations, including the University of Central Asia and the American University of Central Asia, contributing to research, development and education-focused initiatives.

Timur holds a diploma in Economy and Enterprise Management from Kyrgyz National University and a diploma in Tourism and Hotel Management from Manas Kyrgyz Turkish University. He is fluent in English and Russian, with working knowledge of Turkish and Kyrgyz.
