Salima Bekbolotova has been working as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at FAO UN in the Kyrgyz Republic. Her research interests are international trade, economic growth and sustainable (rural) development, agro-industrial sector, integration and globalization issues. She was a Fulbright Postdoctoral fellow at California Polytechnic State University, USA in 2018 and FMSH Postdoctoral fellow at ENS de Lyon, France in 2017. Salima is former Chair of MBA Program at American University of Central Asia (AUCA). She taught economic disciplines and supervised undergraduate and graduate students at AUCA, International Alatoo University and Bishkek Humanities University. Along with her fellow colleagues, she set up the PF Research Center “Development” in 2016 and founded the Prof.Dzh. Musaeva Scientific Award in 2018.
Salima is currently UCA-DAAD Scholar at Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO), Germany.
