Navaz is responsible for implementing independent, objective assurance and consulting activities designed to add value and improve UCA’s operations. These activities also help UCA accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Born and raised in Kenya, Navaz has spent most of his working career in Calgary, Canada where he gained valuable experience consulting in industries such as electricity, oil and gas, forestry, telecommunications, and mining. The combination of industry, business, and consulting experience allows him to apply leading practices and critical thinking to identify value opportunities and recommend practical solutions to UCA. He also serves as a member of the Audit Committee for the First MicroFinance Company in Kyrgyzstan.
